Valentine's Day at School

Today was so much fun! After school we went to a parisian bakery! Went for burgers at In and Out, had a tea party at home then went to Chinatown for dinner! We are stuffed! We will post more photos from our valentines day!

At the Laundromat

While waiting for our car from the valet after eating at a Korean bbq place, we had to stay inside a laundromat because it was way too cold to wait outside.

Then after that we had desserts!!!

We ordered a moon pie and a croissant bread pudding. This pudding was $4.50! A bit pricey but sooo good!

Happy Feet Night

We went to see Happy Feet at the cheap theater tonight with our whole family but before that we had some boba and dinner at TEA SPOTS in Pasadena.

We had noodles and thai tea boba.

Mom had honey Lavander milk tea

Our little brother had mozzarella sticks

They served food in giant bowls, we thought we will never get to finish them.
When we got to the movies, we had more food! Popcorn, dibs and hotdogs!
Tomorrow, it's back to school and were having our Finals. Wish us luck!

Finally, our internet is back! It was so hard not having internet specially in the Summer time when we are all stuck in the house but it is not all that bad though because we were able to catch up on our chores.
We have so much fun features in store for all of you these coming days, we are quite excited! We cannot believe that Summer is almost over and school is almost starting! Ours starts on Sept 7! How fast did Summer flew by!

Yesterday, we went to eat dim sum at out favorite Chinese dim sum place in Chinatown. We were stuffed and we got to take home left overs and more dim sum from their take out corner.

(remember dimsum is only until 3pm)

Chinese broccoli with oyster sauce
lots of shrimp noodles
sticky rice with meat filling wrapped in leaves
sweet bread with taro filling
pork buns
duck
pork shumai
fish balls
shrimp dumplings

what we recommend:
of course, the shrimp noodles because we had so many of them
sweet bread with taro filling (we had to buy more to take home)
sticky rice

but everything else is good but these are our favorites.

Then we went walking around to find some chinese brushes. We will post what we bought next time.

We had a blast. We also found and bought beautiful things. We will show you some of what we bought there.

We love these photos and I'm glad my mom takes so many photos of us. It's so funny like one time our mom left
her camera at home and all day she was so sad. She kept looking at 'perfect shots' that got away.
Now, she never forgets her camera but often forgets to take it out from her purse.

But when she doesn't forget, it's like being with paparazzi.
We are famous.
At least, in our mom's eyes.

We had fun shopping at the museum stores. We bought identical sketchpads for the whole family, Tim Burton Neon pencils, paint brushes and Tim Burton yoyo.

We love checking out museums in LA but LACMA is our favorite. Have you seen the TIM BURTON exhibit yet? You should definitely check it out.

On Saturday, we went to LACMA to see the Tim Burton exhibit with our family. But first we went to eat at our favorite restaurant.

Then we also had gelato there. Super yummy!

Then we were off to LACMA. We renewed our membership and proceeded to the Tim Burton exhibit. Yey!

We miss our friends

The sad thing about Summer is that we don't get to see our friends. We all live near one another but they all left to go to other places for the Summer.

We miss our cousins. They live in Vancouver, British Columbia. Last Christmas was the best Christmas we've ever had. They came over for the Holidays and we had a blast.

Picnic at the park

Aya was not in the mood for photos and I was (well I am all the time). We had picnic at our local park for fourth of July then we ate at a restaurant for dinner. We had steaks and lots of pies. I loved my dutch apple pie. I wish we had a photo but our camera ran out of batteries.We had so much fun!
We went to the park to see the fireworks but sadly it was the night before!!! We missed it. Oh well, we will definitely be there next year.
